Adding categories to any project make it easier to break it down to an
understandable level. Instead of Income and Expenses, you would have the following:- Income >> Disability
- Income >> Retirement
- Expenses >> Fees
- Expenses >> Entertainment
- Expenses >> Personal Debts

- 1Click on the Categories icon and it will take you to the list of default categories that come with the app.
- 2Click on the + sign and then type in the name of the category that you want to add. Press on the check mark.
- This will take you to your next screen where you will set more parameters.

- 3Select the parent category if you want it. Press where it says Parent Category and select one if necessary.
- 4Choose an icon. This will help you visually identify the category.
- 5Choose between expense or income.
- 6Select the type of budget input it is. It goes from none, monthly, and annually.
